NASA has chosen SpaceX for an exciting mission to Titan.
This innovative mission will employ a rotorcraft lander to explore and sample Titan’s diverse geological settings.
SpaceX snagged a sweet $256 million contract for launch services. They’ll use a Falcon Heavy rocket to set Dragonfly on its way during a launch window in July 2028.
Managed by Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Lab, the mission is part of NASA’s New Frontiers Program.
