Here we go again! SpaceX is shooting for Mars with their Starship rocket. Musk claims we’ll start hopping to Mars in just two years. Yeah, sure.
The first missions will be uncrewed, just to check if they can stick the landing. If they pull it off, humans could be on Mars in four years. Bold, right?
Musk’s vision? An interplanetary city in 20 years. All this so we don’t have our eggs in one planet, “literally and metabolically.” Who talks like that?
Their Starship is a beast, a whopping 400 feet tall and nearly twice as powerful as NASA’s moon rocket. And get this, it’s reusable. They plan to land it back on the launch pad, dust it off, and go again. Space hotel on Mars, anyone?
Good luck, Elon. We’ll be over here, not holding our breath.
