NASA’s grand plan? More tests. This time they fired up Starliner’s Reaction Control System thrusters to ensure they can finally get these astronauts back to Earth. The reaction? Everyone’s thrilled—again. The helium system that caused all these delays? Stable, apparently.
Meanwhile, astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams, probably tired of their extended space vacation, are running through undocking simulations and giving NASA real-time status updates. Still no clear landing date, though. But don’t worry, Starliner can last in space up to 90 days, giving NASA and Boeing plenty of time to figure things out.
So, while ground teams scramble with simulations and data reviews, the astronauts are likely embracing their newfound ISS roommates, tackling maintenance chores, and keeping up with their usual “we’re still fine, thanks for asking” routine. Just another day in space!
